Chris Brown Assaulted Rihanna!???!!!!

Chris Brown is being investigated by the LAPD for an alleged assault on a female.

“The identity of the victim will not be released,” Officer April Harding tells People. “Any victim who’s involved in a domestic violence incident is entitled to confidentiality.”

Around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, Chris and an unnamed woman were arguing inside of a vehicle when suddenly things turned violent. According to TMZ, the woman suffered visible injuries and identified Chris as her attacker.

Earlier Saturday night, Chris and girlfriend Rihanna were at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy Gala in Beverly Hills. Rihanna’s rep says, “Rihanna is well. Thank you for concern and support.”

On Sunday afternoon, both Chris and Rihanna were supposed to hit the red carpet and perform at the Grammys. Both will not be in attendance tonight. A Grammy rep says Rihanna’s face is slightly bruised and adds, “We have just been informed that Rihanna will not be attending tonight’s 51st Annual Grammy Awards. We’re sorry she is unable to join us this evening.”

Rihanna to Sing for Obama

People reports that the 20-year-old singer will help usher President-elect Barack Obama into office by performing at the Recording Industry Association of America's Presidential Inauguration Charity Ball, to be held on January 20.

The album is slated for a January 27th release and contains 12 tracks, 2 of which are remixes of her Umbrella.

Rihanna runs through her secret performance during the 2008 American Music Awards rehearsals held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Thursday in Los Angeles.

Her performance looks explosive–literally. Boyfriend Chris Brown was also spotted in the theater.

Rihanna passed out on stage during her concert earlier today (November 7th) at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia.

Here’s how it went down: The 20-year-old Bajan beauty was performing her smash hit “Umbrella”, the last song of her concert. She had just come down from flying around on a harness. Beau Chris Brown joined her on stage for the final performance of the night. Rihanna was then seen hunching over and signaling that she wasn’t feeling well. Rihanna then ran off stage, where paramedics rushed to her side. Chris continued to finish singing the song and then rushed backstage to Rihanna’s side.
